What counts as an AI Agent action?

Anything where BuildPlane's AI Agent does work for you: generating an architecture, regenerating or editing it, and AI Agent questions or changes. Manual canvas edits, saving, and loading never count.

Can I still edit diagrams on the free plan?

Yes. You can create, edit, save, and export diagrams and manage projects on the free plan. The monthly limit only applies to AI Agent actions.

Can I export on the free plan?

Yes. Free exports are full quality and include a small BuildPlane.ai watermark in the footer. BuildPlane Pro removes the watermark for clean, client-ready files.

What happens when I hit the free limit?

AI Agent actions pause until your monthly limit resets, and we'll offer an upgrade to BuildPlane Pro for 1,000 AI Agent actions/month and clean, watermark-free exports. Your existing diagrams stay fully editable.

Can I cancel?

Yes — cancel anytime from Settings → Plan & billing, which opens the Stripe customer portal. You keep Pro until the end of your billing period.
